Our Story

Caribbean flavour, crafted with intention.

The Rolling Coconut blends Caribbean tradition with a modern, intentional approach to food. It’s a celebration of the flavours passed down through my family from St Kitts & Nevis — reimagined through the lens of someone raised in London, shaped by two cultures, and grounded in the belief that good food begins with good ingredients. my earliest memories are shaped by the kitchens of my mother and aunts — Women who cooked with instinct, confidence, and great Caribbean pride. I started cooking at eight years old, learning the kind of lessons you don’t find in books: how to season properly, how to use every part of an ingredient, how to let food tell its own story.

In our home, nothing was wasted. Everything had a purpose. Everything was natural. That way of cooking became the foundation of who I am — and the heart of The Rolling Coconut.

In 2019, during the pandemic, out of necessity, I began making and growing more of my own food from scratch, returning to the principles I was raised with: real ingredients, honest methods, and the belief that food should nourish, not overwhelm. Word soon got out that I was growing and making my own food and baked goods, and I rapidly gained a small client base for my vegan carrot cake, pepper sauce, and green seasoning, made using my garden produce. What started as survival became craft, grew into a brand.
